Job Title: Security Analyst
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid, with one day per week required in the Brighton area

Role Overview:
As a Security Analyst, you will take ownership of proactive monitoring and management of our client’s cyber infrastructure, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of identified security issues. You will analyse threats, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to prioritize and resolve technical support requests effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the client’s technology infrastructure to identify, analyse, and resolve cyber security issues promptly.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of cyber incidents, ensuring professional communication with stakeholders in line with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Technology Operations Managers to address and prioritize escalated technical support tickets.
  • Deliver cyber roadmap objectives, system upgrades, and administrative changes using best practices and maintaining comprehensive change control records.
  • Work with third-party vendors to conduct penetration testing, audits, and ensure systems remain secure and up to date.
  • Manage remediation of third-party recommendations, effectively prioritizing and tracking actions with quality reporting.
  • Analyse product data to identify emerging cyber risks and trends.
  • Oversee and manage staff cyber awareness training programs.
  • Stay current with cyber security trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the client’s security posture.
  • Support disaster recovery governance and perform regular, thorough testing of processes.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to leadership on cyber security best practices.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, managing competing priorities with efficiency.
  • Strong experience in managing cyber security for large, complex organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of leading cyber technologies, threat behaviours, and infrastructure systems.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery concepts, system backups, and Microsoft Cloud Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with third-party vendors.
  • Capability to align operational support with business requirements, delivering effective solutions.
