Third-Party Risk Consultant

 

As a Third-Party Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert insights and recommendations to our clients on managing risks associated with their third-party relationships. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and developing robust risk mitigation strategies. You will be an integral part of our client's risk management efforts, helping them safeguard their interests while maintaining strong, trustworthy partnerships.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' third-party vendors, suppliers, and partners to evaluate their risk profiles.
  • Analyse and interpret risk assessment findings to develop actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement effective risk mitigation plans tailored to their specific business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in third-party risk management.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the risk management process.
  • Offer expertise in contractual reviews to ensure that adequate risk controls and provisions are included.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices seamlessly into clients' existing processes.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in Third-Party Risk Management or related fields such as Vendor Management, Supplier Risk, or Information Security.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications in risk management or relevant fields (e.g., CRISC, CTPRP, CISA) will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
